Mission Statement
The Junior League of Indianapolis (JLI) is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Vision Statement
The Junior League of Indianapolis will be a catalyst for lasting change in the lives of children and their families in our community.

Fast Facts
* One of 293 Junior Leagues in the United States, Mexico, Canada, and the United Kingdom; 170,000+ women world wide
* Started by 10 Indianapolis women in 1921. Became an official Junior League in 1922
* Current JLI membership of over 1,000 women
* JLI has donated nearly $7 million to various community partners since 1922
* JLI has sponsored 163 different community projects benefiting the Indianapolis community over the last 87 years
* JLI provides more than 50,000 hours of volunteer time to the community annually
* Three major fundraisers that fund our community programs:
     1. Holiday Mart: a boutique gift mart held in early November
     2. American Girl Party: a fall fashion show and celebration for young girls
     3. Out of the Attic: a rummage sale held in April
