Ellen FitzGerald, Community Vice President

Ellen FitzGerald serves the Junior League of Indianapolis as Vice President of Community. She joined the JLI in 2016 and is passionate about the League’s impact on the Indianapolis community. During her tenure, she has served in a number of leadership and committee roles, including two years as Co-Chair of the Training and Development Committee, where she and the committee were awarded Committee of the Year in 2021. She has served on a number of special task forces and committees, including the League’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Task Force, the Covid-19 Task Force, and the 2021-22 Community Focus ad hoc, which led to JLI’s selection of serving youth in foster and kinship care as its new focus.
In addition to her dedication to the Junior League of Indianapolis, Ellen serves as an international volunteer for Delta Gamma Fraternity. Professionally, she works as a Consultant for Blue Beyond Consulting, a Bay Area-based boutique firm specializing in the “people side of business.” She holds both a M.S.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs (2015) and a B.S. in Ballet (2011) from Indiana University-Bloomington. She lives in the SoBro neighborhood of Indianapolis with her husband, Sean, and their two-year-old pandemic rescue pup Leo, where she enjoys tending to her garden.
