Junior League of Indianapolis Community Assistance Grants

Community Assistance Grants (CAGs) provide 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations with monetary support to meet community needs within a current JLI focus area (currently programs and projects that support youth in foster and kinship care). Since 2000, nearly $5,000,000 has been awarded to local nonprofits.

Community Assistance Grants Information

The Junior League of Indianapolis will distribute a total of $50,000 in Community Assistance Grants, with individual awards ranging from $5,000 to $20,000. Applicants are asked to indicate both their requested funding amount and their minimum funding amount to help JLI allocate resources in a way that maximizes community impact. Funding will support initiatives that advance the well-being of foster youth and kinship care in Central Indiana.

Eligibility

Funded initiatives must fall within the JLI’s current focus area of programs and projects that support youth in foster and kinship care by addressing the needs of foster youth and kinship care.

CAG applicants must have a postal address and serve a constituency in Marion or one of the following surrounding counties: Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Shelby, Johnson, Morgan or Hendricks.
