Trust Fund Grants Awarded to Organizations Serving Children
with Mental and/or Physical Disabilities

INDIANAPOLIS—The Junior League of Indianapolis (JLI) recently announced the recipients for its 2023 – 2024 Trust Fund Grants. JLI awards Trust Fund Grants annually to support Marion County nonprofits serving children with mental and/or physical disabilities. Applicants were eligible for up to $5,000 to support a program or project that meets the eligibility requirements.

The Trust Fund Grants aim to support organizations tailored to back diverse programs and initiatives that resonate with JLI’s mission of fostering volunteerism, nurturing women’s potential, and enhancing communities through impactful action and leadership.

Below are this year’s grant recipients:

JLI also awarded Riley Hospital for Children grants through the Anne Collett Hensley Memorial Fund ($2,600) and the Emily Katheryn Gilroy Memorial Fund ($870).

“The generosity of the JLI has allowed us to invest more in our Artisans program, which provides vocational arts opportunities to teens with disabilities in Indianapolis,” said ArtMix President and CEO Britt Sutton. “This gift transforms students’ lives by helping them build confidence and a sense of autonomy, and we couldn’t be more grateful to JLI for making this possible!”

“At JLI, we’re passionate about making a meaningful difference in our community, and these grants represent a tangible way for us to contribute to the well-being and enrichment of children and their families,” said Natalie Seibert, JLI’s Grants Vice President. “I’m thrilled to continue witnessing the positive impact these funds will have in fostering inclusivity, empowerment, and opportunities for all.”

Over its 90+-year lifespan, the Junior League Trust Fund has provided more than $550,000 to organizations serving children with mental and/or physical disabilities. To learn more about the Trust Fund Grants, click here: https://www.jlindy.org/trust-fund-grants/
