Established in 1929, the Junior League of Indianapolis Trust Fund was created to ensure continued financial support for the League’s first service project at James Whitcomb Riley Hospital after the volunteer contract concluded. Originally designed to provide interest income to the hospital’s Occupational Therapy Department, the Trust has grown over time to extend its impact beyond the hospital. Today, Trust Fund grants support a broad range of nonprofit organizations serving children with physical and/or developmental disabilities, continuing the Junior League of Indianapolis’ long-standing commitment to improving the lives of children and families in our community.
