Cat Paterson

Cat Paterson, Ph. D., has been a member of the Junior League of Indianapolis for nearly twelve years. She is the current Vice President of Grants, where she oversees a council of 12 and provides guidance, direction, and oversight over the more than $130,000 the league grants each year.

She was previously named Leader of the Year and served on JLI’s Committee of the Year. She has served on the Grants Committee, President’s Support Committee, Recruitment Committee, and Holiday Mart Committee. She is an Impact 100 member and volunteers with the Marion County Health Department. Dr. Paterson is a faculty member at Indiana State University in the Applied Medicine and Rehabilitation Department and is a Faculty Fellow with ISU’s Center for Community Engagement. She is the Editor of the Journal of Community Engagement and Higher Education. Cat earned her Ph. D. from The University of Southern Mississippi, her M. Ed. degree from the University of Louisiana – Monroe, and her B. S. degree at The University of Louisiana – Lafayette.
