Sarah Shields, Community VP
Sarah Shields joined the Junior League of Indianapolis in 2018, and currently serves as Community Vice
President. Throughout her tenure, Sarah has served on various committees on Community Council, Holiday Mart,
and Grants Council. She is a graduate of the Hamilton County Leadership Academy, the Indiana State Bar
Association Leadership Development Academy, and an executive committee member of the Indianapolis Bar
Association’s Women and the Law Division.
Sarah serves as staff attorney to the Hamilton Superior Courts 4, 5, 6, and 7. Prior to working for the courts,
she gained experience in the public sector as a Deputy Attorney General, where her practice focused on
administrative law and related government litigation, and in the private sector as an associate with small and
mid-sized law firms where her practice covered criminal and civil litigation as well as appellate representation.
Sarah resides in Fishers with her husband, son and daughter, and a handful of dogs and cats. She is currently
training for the New York City Marathon and has a long-term goal to complete all of the World Marathon Majors.
